Today’s Focus: Receiving Power

QUESTIONS:

1. On a scale of 1-10, how sensitive are you to the Holy Spirit’s leading in your life?

2. What would someone’s life look like that is experiencing God’s power at work in them?

3. Read John 14:15-31.

   1. What is our commitment that we must keep for God to really be able to manifest himself to us?

   2. According to this passage, what are some of the things the Spirit does for us and in us?

   3. According to verse 21, what is the relationship between love and obeying commandments?  Can you love without obeying?  Can you obey without loving?  Explain.

4. If the score you gave yourself from 1-10 isn’t as high as you hoped, what are some possible reasons for that?
